Dye and X-ray show exactly where arteries are blocked.
Angioplasty
A tiny balloon reopens the artery.
Stenting
A small mesh tube holds it open.
Focused treatment
What we treat
Peripheral angiogram
Mapping leg arteries and locating blockages.
Balloon angioplasty
Reopening narrowed arteries from the inside.
Stenting
Holding an artery open when needed.
Lower-leg and foot arteries
Limb-salvage treatment when appropriate.
Re-narrowed stents
Evaluating and treating repeat narrowing.
Atherectomy
Removing hard plaque when a balloon isn't enough.

Frequently asked questions
Am I awake?
Yes, with light sedation and local anaesthetic. Most people feel only pressure.
How long does a stent last?
It's permanent, but arteries can re-narrow. Walking, not smoking and your medicines lower the risk.
When can I drive?
Usually after 24–48 hours. We'll confirm before you leave.
Is the dye safe with kidney disease?
We check kidney function first and limit the dye. Tell us if you have kidney disease.
